Full-time Construction Estimator that are self-motivated and have experience in a team-oriented and collaborative environment with ability to adapt to change and competing demands. Candidate will have good communication (written, verbal and presentation), organizational, and analytical skills and tertiary knowledge of codes and assemblies and working knowledge of building systems. This position requires proficiency in MS Excel, Word and estimating software (Active Takeoff, Bluebeam and/or REVU). Experience in MS Project is a plus. minimum 5 years of experience in multi-family/mixed use construction or a bachelor’s degree. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for working with the preconstruction/business development team supporting projects from the qualifying stage to contract and should be able to provide references of successfully estimated projects and/or provide portfolio.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
– Analyzing requirement documents, construction drawings, project plans and specifications to gain a thorough understanding of the project to prepare and estimate budget costs for construction.

– Developing bids for construction projects.

– Scheduling meetings with clients, site managers, and staff.

– Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product.

– Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service

– Creating labor estimates for any project

– Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors

– Evaluating offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes

– Resolving cost differences by analyzing and collecting info

– Managing bids from vendors and contractors

– Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis.

– Presenting prepared estimates to management and clients

– Monitoring construction processes including but not limited to paperwork and traveling to building sites as required.

– Working closely with Project team, architects, and other professionals during construction to provide insight and intent of preconstruction process.

Construction Estimating: 3 years (Required)
Work Location: In person

– Reading design plans in order to provide minimal wallboard to avoid unnecessary waste of materials

– Measuring and marking cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim using tape measure, straightedge, or square, and marking devices

– Identifying the exact locations of windows, electrical outlets, and plumbing, and then cutting the drywall or ceiling tile to fit the precise size needed

– Cutting drywall to the right size, using utility knives and power saws

– Fastening drywall panels to interior wall studs, using nails or screws

– Installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners

– Filling joints, holes, and cracks with compound, using a trowel and broad knife

– Trimming and smoothing rough edges so boards join evenly without visual defect

Qualifications & Experience:

– 3 years minimum experience reference required

– Experience on commercial, industrial, or residential construction sites preferred

– Verifiable work history that shows professional skills and experience

– Strong work ethic and safety oriented

The CDL Driver will be responsible for the following

– safe and efficient operation of rear load, front load, side load, and roll off trucks, while providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers on designated routes.

– The Driver safely maneuvers assigned vehicle in residential or commercial environments
– Navigates high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots and provides excellent customer service.
